The lab congratulates Daniel Akuma and the rest of his team, SANIPACK, who emerged victorious at the recent “Africa Takes on COVID-19” hackathon challenge at MIT.
He and his team are designing and testing a portable UV device that can be used to sterilize protective masks to combat PPE shortages during the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic.
