The lab is excited to congratulate Daniel Akuma and the SANIPACK team on their acceptance into the Clinton Global Initiative University 2021 cohort! Through this opportunity, Daniel and team will have access to targeted mentoring, funding streams and a global network of students turning their innovative ideas into action.
As their call to action project, Daniel and team will operationalize SANIPACK - a portable system for decontaminating and reusing N95 masks in order to keep healthcare workers and patients safe during the ongoing shortages occurring in Africa and worldwide.
